RE: Point of View Depth Workshop
You guys rock!
Revising for a deeper POV is easy, though!!! Step 1: find the flag word. (you just run a search for these words). Flag words: thought wondered decided hear heard see saw smell taste feel felt step 2: cut the telling words OR rephrase in a way that cuts the telling words. "I felt the sandpaper." Ask yourself what feeling it is like: The sandpaper scraped my fingertips. Go ahead and try it. Maybe post a before and after of a sentence you found with one of these flag words and revised on your own. If you start doing this and get stuck on one, come here and I'll give some further insight. The Forever Girl by Rebecca Hamilton Sophia's family has skeletons, but they aren't in their graves.... Sample and Release Information |
